Exhibition Celebrates Junior Artists
VISIT Cleethorpes Library and celebrate young creative talent across North East Lincolnshire this January and February as part of the Junior Open Art Exhibition.
Back in November, Lincs Inspire challenged children aged 15 years and under to get creative for the chance to showcase their art in a professional gallery setting.
Thanks to funding from Arts Council England, the exhibition will bring these colourful and imaginative pieces to the public from Monday, January 16 to Saturday, February 25.
Caroline Moorby, Arts Development Officer, Lincs Inspire said: “We’re thrilled to be hosting our first ever junior exhibition. We’ve been really impressed with the high standard of work and are encouraging people to come and see for themselves. What better to cure those January blues than with a celebration of colour and creativity!”
Viewers will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite piece, with prizes awarded to the winners of the public and judges’ votes.
The exhibition is free to attend during Cleethorpes Library opening hours – Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday, 9am to 1pm. For more information visit lincsinspire.com.
